Blossom Opossum Ornament

This adorable creature is hardly playing possum as she snuggles a beautiful blossom. Opossums are well-known for their involuntary behavior of mimicking the look and smell of a dead animal when they feel threatened. Opossums are also unique for using their tail as a fifth limb as they climb, hang and balance.  It was carefully mouth-blown into a finely crafted mold. Then a hot solution of liquid silver was poured inside. Finally, the ornament was delicately hand-painted with many brightly colored lacquers and glitters for you to enjoy!
